Maybe it was not you, but me

Who was not meant for you,

Or Maybe the universe is just writing something better for you.

Maybe there was a mistake right from the start,

we were wrong for each other in every possible way, I wish

Or Maybe we just kindled a fire that both of us didn’t know how to extinguish.

Maybe it was you who didn’t opened the doors to her heart,

Or Maybe I just didn’t knock.

Maybe all we had was eternity the everlasting love, infinity

Or maybe it was just stupidity which perpetuated through innocence.

Maybe it was not the distance of kilometers we had between us,

But maybe the distant understanding between us.

Maybe you drew memories in my mind, I could never erase.

And maybe you painted the blank canvas of my heart which I could never replace.

Maybe I still can’t count all the reasons that we hate each other,

 Or Maybe we just messed up all the reasons to love each other.

Maybe this is not the end,

Maybe when we are ready,we will meet again.

I let fate decide, if we are meant to be, we will be together,
